Questions people ask
How do I ask a question?
Tap a circle on the ring once to see who it is, and again to choose it. Then hold the gold dot for about two seconds while you think of your question. Let go, and the card turns over.
Why are some circles locked?
Zign, the gold circle, is free. The other six personalities come with Zign Complete. Tap a locked circle twice to hear about it and unlock it.
How do I restore my purchases?
Tap the small gold dot at the bottom right of the main screen, then Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.
I paid, but nothing unlocked.
Try Restore purchases first (gold dot, then Restore purchases), with a working internet connection. If that doesn't help, email us with the date of the purchase and we'll sort it out.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store. On iPhone, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, open Google Play, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & history.
How do I change my name?
Tap the gold dot at the bottom right, then Your name. Your name is stored only on your phone.
How do I turn the sounds off?
Tap the gold dot, then Voice, and switch off Reveal sounds. Spoken reflections only play when you tap Listen on a card.
Is Zign fortune telling?
No. Zign picks a short line at random from the chosen personality's set: a playful sign to think with, not a prediction or advice.
Does Zign need the internet?
Asking and listening work offline. Buying, restoring and seeing prices need a connection.
Does Zign record or store my questions?
No. You never type your question, Zign doesn't use the microphone, and nothing about it leaves your phone. See the privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Your name and settings are only on your phone, so they go with it. Your purchases stay with your Apple ID or Google account, and you can restore them if you reinstall.
Is Zign on Android?
Zign is on iPhone first. Android is planned.
